Franz Came Home to a Disaster…
Franz arrives home after work somewhere in Bavaria – and finds complete chaos.
The children are still running around outside in their pajamas, playing in the mud.
Empty freezer boxes and juice cartons are scattered all over the garden.
When he enters the house, things get even worse:
Dirty dishes are piled up in the kitchen, dog food is on the floor, a window pane is broken, and sand is scattered everywhere.
There are toys, clothes, and an overturned lamp lying around in the living room.
Franz panics.
He immediately thinks something ter-rible must have happened to his wife.
He runs up the stairs into the bedroom.
There, his wife sits comfortably in bed in her pajamas, relaxing and reading a book.
She looks up smiling and asks:
“So honey, how was your day?”
Franz stares at her in horror:
“What on earth happened here today?!”
His wife smiles calmly and says:
“You ask me every evening what I actually did all day.”
“And when I say, ‘I took care of the household and the children,’ you always reply:
,And otherwise?’”
She closes her book and grins:
“Well…”
“I didn’t do anything today.”
