Four buddies had a tradition of going on an annual fishing trip. However, a few days before departure, John’s wife put her foot down and strictly forbade him from going.
His friends were devastated, but there was nothing they could do. Two days later, the remaining three arrived at the campsite—only to find John already there, sitting by a roaring fire, with his tent set up and a cold beer in his hand.
“Heck, John!” they gasped. “How long have you been here, and how on earth did you convince your wife to let you go?”
“Well, I’ve been here since last night,” John smiled. “Yesterday evening, I was sitting in my recliner when my wife snuck up behind me in a lacy nightie. She led me into the bedroom, which was filled with lit candles and rose petals. It turns out she’s been reading 50 Shades of Grey.”
John took a sip of his beer and continued, “She pointed to a pair of handcuffs and ropes on the bed, and told me to tie her up and cuff her tightly to the headboard. So, I did.”
“Then what happened?!” his friends asked, leaned in.
John grinned, “Then she looked at me and whispered, ‘Now… do whatever you want.’ So, boys, I packed my gear and here I am!”
