He Thought His Wife Lied… Until He Realized This
A guy walks into a bar and spots his friend sitting alone, staring into his drink like it just insulted him.
He walks over and says, “Hey… you look terrible. What happened?”
The friend sighs heavily.
“My wife cheated on me.”
“Damn… are you serious?”
“Yeah.”
“How do you know?”
The friend takes a slow sip, clearly replaying it in his head.
“She didn’t come home the other night,” he says.
“When I asked where she was, she told me she stayed over at her best friend Lisa’s place.”
The guy shrugs. “Okay… that doesn’t sound that suspicious.”
Another pause.
The friend looks up, dead serious.
“She’s lying.”
“How can you be so sure?”
A beat.
The friend leans in slightly and says:
“Because I was at Lisa’s that night.”
