An old farmer decided to treat himself to a night at the movies.
As he reached the ticket booth, the cashier frowned and pointed to his shoulder.
“Sir… is that a rooster?”
The farmer smiled proudly.
“Sure is. This is Chuck. Wherever I go, Chuck goes.”
The cashier shook his head.
“Sorry. No animals allowed in the theater.”
Not wanting to miss the movie, the farmer stepped around the corner, carefully tucked Chuck inside his overalls, then returned and bought a ticket.
A few minutes later, he settled into his seat beside two elderly widows, Mildred and Marge.
As the movie began, Chuck started squirming.
Trying to keep his feathered friend comfortable, the farmer quietly loosened his overalls just enough for Chuck to poke his head out and watch the film.
A few moments later, Mildred leaned over and whispered,
“Marge…”
“What is it?”
“I think the man sitting next to me is a real pervert.”
Marge rolled her eyes.
“What makes you say that?”
Mildred whispered,
“He opened his pants… and now I’ve got a clear view of his… well… you know.”
Marge chuckled.
“Oh, don’t worry. At our age, we’ve seen them all.”
Mildred stared straight ahead for another second before replying,
“I thought so too… but this one’s eating my popcorn!” 😂
