I was standing at the counter of a restaurant waiting for my order when a food delivery driver struck up a conversation.
He sighed and said, “You know, this job isn’t as fun as people think. I spend all day smelling amazing food… but I don’t get to eat any of it.”
I nodded sympathetically.
“I know exactly how you feel.”
His eyes lit up. “Really? You’re a delivery driver too?”
I smiled and shook my head.
“No…”
“I’m a gynecologist.”
Let’s just say… the conversation ended right there, and my food arrived at the perfect time.
